CoreGo's Substance-Free and Safe Workplace Environment

Purpose

CoreGo is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all employees. The use of alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances can create safety hazards, reduce productivity, and harm both individuals and the organization. This policy outlines our expectations to ensure a workplace that is free from substance misuse.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees, contractors, and temporary workers.

  • All company premises, vehicles, and worksites.

  • All company-related events, whether on- or off-site.

Policy Statement

  • The unlawful manufacture, distribution, possession, sale, or use of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances is strictly prohibited.

  • Employees are expected to report to work fit for duty, free from the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or misused prescription medications.

  • Prescription and over-the-counter medications that could impair job performance must be used responsibly. Employees should inform their manager or HR if medication may affect their ability to safely perform their role.

Alcohol Use

  • Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during work hours or on company property.

  • At company-sponsored events where alcohol is served, moderation and responsible behavior are expected.

  • Employees must never operate production, company vehicles or machinery after consuming alcohol.

Drug Use

  • The possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden.

  • Employees may not report to work under the influence of illegal substances or misused prescription/over-the-counter drugs.

  • Any drug paraphernalia is prohibited on company property.
