Jukola relay is one of Finland’s largest and most renowned orienteering events, annually gathering thousands of enthusiasts and top orienteers from around the world. This year, the event featured CoreGo’s payment solutions and a web-store implemented by CoreGo, which enabled participants to pre-purchase meals.
The event, named Lakia-Jukola this year, was held at the Kauhava airfield, offering excellent transportation connections and suitable facilities for organizing such a large event. Lakia-Jukola attracted over 17,000 orienteers to Kauhava.
Pre-purchased meals for the express lane ensured shorter waiting times and lower prices.
CoreGo created an online store for the event, where participants could purchase meal tickets. The event restaurant offered delicious food both at the express lane and the regular lane.
Meals purchased in advance for the express lane provided shorter waiting times, a 30-minute guaranteed dining slot, and lower prices. Pre-purchased meal tickets were delivered to participants via email as QR codes, which were scanned with CoreGo’s handheld scanners at the event.
Lakia-Jukola’s Secretary General, Pauli Mäkelä, was very satisfied with CoreGo’s services:

The CoreGo POS terminals for the event were supplied to Lakia-Jukola by CoreGo’s reseller, Data Group SataIT.
